Persian Turquoise Cabochons

Note: The sizes of these stones are all approximate sizes only - please see below for further information

These beautiful 100% natural Persian turquoise cabochons have not been treated in any way, they have a lovely soft blue turquoise colour and occasional unique pyrite markings.

High quality Persian turquoise is rich blue, with less matrix. Persian turquoise can also be distinguished by its white mottled patches.

  • Cabochon 
  • Hardness of 5-6 on the Mohs scale
  • Natural gemstone- no treatment: totally natural turquoise is quite rare and less than 3% of the world's turquoise is now completely unstabilised or untreated
  • Healing properties: calmness and good luck
  • Sold individually
  • Please note the sizes are not exact and there are size tolerances on all sizes of approx 0.2mm 
  • Please note: due to the cut and size tolerance of the stones, these are more suitable for a bezel setting rather than a claw setting as some have uneven bottoms and edges. However, they will not fit straight into our bezel cups (code: S90) and you may have to make some adjustments to fit the stone
