The kit includes everything needed to learn soldering safely and effectively, opening up a world of creative possibilities.

  • Jewellers Gas Torch: Small and controllable flame up to 1300°C (gas not included)
  • Soldering Block: Protects your work surface during heating
  • 10cm Easy Solder Strip: Ideal for initial joins
  • Borax Cone and Dish: For mixing flux paste to prepare your pieces
  • Flux Brush: Applies flux precisely to your silver
  • Reverse Action Tweezers: For secure handling of hot components
  • 90g Safety Pickle: Removes fire stain post-soldering
  • Plastic Tweezers: Safe for handling items in pickle solution

Drawing from our decades of experience in gemstones and craftsmanship here in Cornwall, we've curated this kit with reliable, high quality tools to make the process approachable. 

We recommend practicing on scrap silver or copper first. Copper behaves very similarly to silver and can be soldered with silver solder, making it ideal for practice.
