Amethyst Trapiche Bezel Setting Bundle - Various shapes

These bezel setting bundles come supplied with:

  • A beautiful freeform amethyst trapiche cabochon
  • A piece of sterling silver sheet and 
  • A length of fine silver bezel strip to enable you to create a bezel setting. 

HOW TO SHOP

Simply select the shape of stone you would like from the drop down menu, and you will receive a cabochon of that shape together with enough 0.5mm sterling silver sheet and 0.3x5mm fine silver bezel strip for you to make a bezel setting for the cabochon. Each stone is unique and hand selected for you, therefore there may be slight variation in shape and pattern. Please note that the Freeform shape can vary from the shape shown in the first image. 

These amethyst trapiche freeform cabochons show varying shades of purple with natural inclusions forming unusual patterns. In certain conditions as the amethyst grows, inclusions form within the stone to create a radiating "star", also know as trapiche pattern. Depending on how the cabochon has been cut it's possible to see parts of this pattern resulting in a unique stone, perfect for creating one-off jewellery designs.

  • Cabochon (flat bottom, smooth domed top, undrilled)
  • Available in a range of shapes, Teardrop, Rectangle/Square, Oval and a variety of Freeform shapes
  • Sizes ranging from 12x13mm to 21x12mm
  • Hardness of 7 on the Mohs scale
  • Natural gemstone - may have slight surface imperfections
  • Healing properties: protection, purification and spirituality
  • Birthstone for February
  • Stones will be picked hand selected for you.
