Mexican Fire Opal Freeform Cabochon, Approx 18x11.5mm

    This freeform Mexican fire opal is beautiful with shades of orange and red colours emanating from its centre. This opal was mined from one of the first opal mines in Magdalena Jalisco, Mexico. 

  • Cabochon (domed top, flat back)
  • Size: approximately 18x11.5mm
  • Has a hardness of 5.5-6 on the Mohs scale
  • Natural genuine gemstone - no treatment
  • Has some surface imperfections and inclusions
  • Birthstone of October
  • Healing properties: calming, comforting and happiness
