Mexican Fire Opal Freeform Cabochon, Approx 16.5x17mm

    This freeform Mexican fire opal has shades of orange and red colours emanating from its centre. This opal was mined from one of the first opal mines in Magdalena Jalisco, Mexico. 

  • Cabochon (domed top, flat back)
  • Size: approximately 16.5x17mm
  • Has a hardness of 5.5-6 on the Mohs scale
  • Natural genuine gemstone - no treatment
  • Has some surface imperfections and inclusions
  • Birthstone of October
