Maligano Jasper Freeform Cabochon, Approx 34x20.5mm

Price: £27.99 / each

This Maligano jasper freeform cabochon has grey/black patterns of agate which have filled its cavities and created a beautiful unique surface pattern. Its pinky peach background creates a colour contrast with the dark pattern resulting in an abstract piece of art across the stone.

Maligano jasper is named after the small village on the Island of Sulawesi in Indonesia from where it was found. A relatively newly discovered jasper (2011-2012), this stone forms in ancient volcanic hot springs.
