The K2 stone is a relatively new stone only found in Pakistan at the base of the second highest mountain on earth - the K2 Mountain. It is thought that the blue spots are Azurite and the grey-white matrix is granite. Over many years weathering and erosion has worn away copper-rich rock leaving a blue residue of Azurite and in some cases hints of green Malachite.
Each K2 stone is unique and will be perfect for creating one-off pieces of jewellery
