Lucky Silver Horseshoe Pearl Necklace

Lucky Silver Horseshoe Pearl Necklace

This lucky silver horseshoe pearl necklace is a lovely project for you to make a beautiful, unique necklace for a gift or for wedding jewellery. We have used our horseshoe charm - you can see our full range of charms here

Step by step instructions

Start by glueing your pearl drop into the sterling silver peg.

We recommend using Devcon 5 minute epoxy glue for super-fast, high strength, high-quality bonds.

Prepare by mixing the glue. Use a fine point such as a cocktail stick to dab a bit of glue onto the cap of the peg and gently place it in the half-drilled hole in the bead. Once mixed, the glue sets in 5 minutes, so ensure you set your pearl straight away.

Gently place it down and leave it to set.

Cut the chain in half using side cutters

Now you can attach the pearl beads by wire wrapping using 0.3mm wire (see step by step instructions on how to do this technique here), ensuring you attach one end to the loose chain and the other end to a 3mm jump ring.

Once this is done you can attach the jump rings to both top holes of the horseshoe charm.

Use flat nose or snipe nose pliers to open and close your 3mm sterling silver jump rings.
