White Cubic Zirconia Stone Packs, Fire-in-Place for Metal Clay
Add sparkle to your metal clay pieces with these white cubic zirconia faceted stones, supplied in handy mixed packs of 10, 30 or 50. Because cubic zirconia is lab created, it can handle the heat of the kiln, which makes it one of the few faceted stones you can fire in place with silver metal clay. Many makers don’t realise this, so you can set your stones into the clay, fire once, and finish with a brilliant sparkle.
Choose your pack size from the dropdown above. Each pack contains a mixed selection of shapes and sizes, listed below.
- White cubic zirconia, faceted
- Suitable for firing in place with Art Clay and PMC silver clay
- Most cubic zirconia can be fired at standard silver clay schedules without a change in colour
- Hardness of 8-8.5 on the Mohs scale, so it’s tough and keeps its sparkle
- A mix of rounds, squares, ovals, marquise and teardrops, so you’ve got stones for lots of designs
- Packs of 10, 30 or 50

Firing tips
- Always check your clay manufacturer’s firing guide, and make sure the stone can take the schedule you’re using
- Small stones can be torch fired, but kiln firing is gentler on stones, especially the larger ones
- Let your piece cool naturally and don’t quench it, as sudden temperature changes can crack the stone
- These tips are a guide only, so we recommend trying one stone in a test piece first
