Barrelling Machine Kit For Polishing Metal

This kit comes with everything you need to tumble polish your metal jewellery creations!

Tumble polishers (also known as barrel or rotary polishers) work by 'tumbling' the stainless steel shot around in the spinning vaned or paddled barrel which impacts on your jewellery acting like thousands of tiny hammers planishing the surface of the metal, polishing it to a high shine.

Remove any scratches etc. by pre-polishing (for example using sanding sheets) before using the barreling machine for a final polish and to gently work harden your designs.

It is perfect for the polishing silver (all types including sterling silver and fine silver as well as tarnish-resistant silver), gold, copper, bronze, palladium, platinum and all metal clays.

  • Size: measures approximately: 210mm x 100mm x 150mm, barrel measures approximately: 150mmx100mm
  • Weighs less than 2kg
  • The machine has been manufactured in the UK by Beach Lapidary Ltd, a long-established, well respected and trusted company with many years' experience in manufacturing tumbling and barreling machines

The full kit comprises:

  • An electric motor base (made in the UK). 
  • One 3lb plastic (paddled) barrel with 2 lids of which the colour may vary (please refer to the video for easily removing and attaching the lids)
  • 500g of mixed shape rust-resistant stainless steel shot (we advise using stainless steel shot as steel shot is prone to rust)
  • 500g of barrelling compound (barrelbrite)
  • Detailed, easy-to-follow instructions & troubleshooting guide
  • 1-year motor guarantee

Delivery information: Delivery for this item will be by courier. As this is a heavy item please note Royal Mail Special Delivery is not available.
