K2 Freeform Cabochons
Striking and unusual, K2 stone is a pale granite scattered with vivid blue spots of azurite, like raindrops of cobalt paint on stone. It’s found near the base of K2, the second-highest mountain in the world, in the Karakoram Range of Pakistan, so each cabochon comes with a bit of mountain adventure built in. K2 is sometimes sold as “K2 jasper”, although it’s technically a granite rather than a jasper.
As these are freeform cabochons and every pattern is different, please choose your favourite from the images shown. We have just one of each stone, so once it’s gone, it’s gone.
- Sold individually, with each stone completely one-of-a-kind
- Sizes range from approximately 19mm up to 33.5mm at the longest point
- Smooth, domed top with a flat base
- Hardness of around 6 on the Mohs scale for the granite, though the azurite spots are softer, so a little extra care is recommended when wearing and storing your finished piece
- 100% natural stone, so expect gorgeous variation in the size, shape and colour of the blue spots from stone to stone
K2 is said to encourage grounding, intuition and balance, making it a meaningful choice as much as a beautiful one.

Dispatch Information
Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays).
Most orders are shipped the same day if placed before our cutoff. Dispatch may take longer during busy periods, sales events, or for complex/custom orders.
Special Delivery orders must be placed by 12 noon for same-day dispatch.
