Bundle contents:

• Dremel 4250 Multi Tool & 35 accessories: a robust, high quality rotary tool, popular with hobbyists and professional jewellers alike. The accessories cover detailed sanding, carving, engraving, cutting, grinding, cleaning and polishing.
• Multi chuck: lets you change accessories quickly without using collets. It’s needed to use the 2.3mm shank accessories in this kit with the Dremel.
• Mandrels: for use with the silicone polishing wheels included in this kit. They have a 2.3mm shank, so they fit many hobby and pendant drills. Choose the right type for your polisher: the cylinder mandrel is threaded, so the cylinder screws straight on, and the wheel and knife edge mandrel comes apart so the wheel can be inserted and secured.
• Silicon carbide polishing cylinders: impregnated with fast-cutting abrasives, supplied in four grades. Work down through the grades for a professional finish in a fraction of the time sanding sheets take. Use with the mandrels included.
• Silicon carbide knife edge polishing wheels: also in four grades, and used in the same way as the cylinders, with the mandrels included.
• Polishing mops, wheels and points: quick polishing for jewellery, and handy for hard-to-reach areas even if you have a bench polisher. They have a 2.3mm shank and are best used with polishing compounds. Use tripoli for pre-polishing and rouge for the final mirror finish, with separate points for each, as even a little tripoli can contaminate your rouge.
• Alligator tape: not a tool, but a workshop essential. This finger tape protects your fingers from minor cuts, abrasions and burns when filing, sanding, polishing, grinding, assembling and stone setting.
