Charoite Cabochons
With its striking swirling patterns of lilac and deep purple set against a soft pearly lustre, charoite is a truly distinctive gemstone to work with. This rare silicate mineral is found exclusively in one remote area of Siberia, near the Chara River from which it takes its name - making every piece a genuinely special find.
As this is a natural gemstone, patterns and depth of colour will vary from stone to stone.
- Cabochon cut, with a smooth domed top and flat base - ideal for bezel settings, wire wrapping or glue-in mounts
- 100% natural gemstone, with swirling patterns unique to each individual stone
- Hardness of 5-6 on the Mohs scale, so a little extra care is recommended when wearing and storing your finished piece
Charoite is said to encourage balance, calm and spiritual awareness, making it a meaningful choice as much as a beautiful one.

Dispatch Information
Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays).
Most orders are shipped the same day if placed before our cutoff. Dispatch may take longer during busy periods, sales events, or for complex/custom orders.
Special Delivery orders must be placed by 12 noon for same-day dispatch.
