Grandidierite Rose Cut Freeform Cabochon, Approx 13x10mm

Grandidierite is a rare and beautiful stone. This rose cut freeform cabochon is seafoam green in colour with natural inclusions. The colour of Grandidierite is due to the presence of iron and some Grandidierite specimens have pleochroic properties which means it shows different colours under a different light. As this is a natural Grandidierite cabochon it may have internal/external inclusions. 

  • Rose cut faceted cabochon (rose cut faceted top, flat back)
  • Size: approx 13x10mm
  • Hardness of 7 on the Mohs scale
  • Natural gemstone - no treatment (may have surface imperfections and inclusions)
