Spiral Moonstone & Rose Quartz Christmas Tree Necklace
Make this beautiful Moonstone & Rose Quartz Christmas tree silver necklace using our jewellery making kit. This project would also make a lovely gift either given as it is or already made up by you presented in a lovely jewellery gift box.
STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS
1. Bend a small loop in the wire with round nose pliers.
3. Use snipe nose pliers to form a spiral - hold the spiral flat between the plier jaws and keep adjusting your grip as you bend your wire around itself.
(at this point you can either leave the wire as it is or you can flatten it with a hammer - we went for the flat look)
4. Stretch our the spiral to form the shape of a tree.
5. Next, take the headpin and thread on a moonstone bead followed by silver one - alternating between big beads and small metal beads.
6. Cut any excess wire using side cutters, leaving enough room to form a loop at the end of the headpin.
7. Thread the headpin through the tree.
8. Using snipe nose or flat nose pliers open up a jump ring and attach the loop of the tree, the headpin and a chain. Close the jump ring.
Your Christmas tree necklace is now ready to wear!
