Raindrop Necklace

Raindrop Necklace

The little moonstone briolettes are reminiscent of rain or dew drops in this simple wire wrap project, ideal for beginners.

Step By Step Instructions

Start by cutting about 5cm out of the middle of the necklace (this will be used to make the long drops that the beads will hang).

Then cut the section you have removed into three slightly different lengths.

Attach the dewdrop connector to the chain necklace in the gap you have made using two of the small jump rings (remember to twist open the jump rings as shown here)

Next wire wrapping all of your briolettes, you can see a step by step tutorial here (you can choose to either wrap the wire to make a little cap at the top of the briolette or just a couple of small wraps of wire as we did.

Attach a jump ring directly to one of the wire wrapped briolettes and attach jump ring connecting the dewdrop connector to the chain on the right hand side. Connect another briolette and jump ring to the left hand loop on the dewdrop connector.

Connect the last three briolettes to the three short lengths of chain you cut earlier using jump rings. Then connect each of these with jump rings to the middle three loops on the dewdrop connector. This will complete your necklace!
