Lapis Chip Sterling Silver Necklace

This lapis chip sterling silver necklace really stands out and the beautiful bright blue lapis contrasts well against the sterling silver.

You could even make some earrings to match!

Step by step instructions

Start by cutting your wire into 20 x 6cm lengths.

Divide your lapis chip beads into 20 piles approx the same amount of beads in each pile.

Take your rope connector link and using round nose jewellery pliers loop one end of 6cm sterling silver wire through the connector loop and wrap the wire to secure it. 

Thread one pile of lapis chip beads onto the wire and using round nose jewellery pliers loop the other end of the wire and wrap it securely. 

Take another length of 6cm sterling silver wire and using round nose jewellery pliers make a neat loop through the previous loop and wrap your wire to secure it.

Thread another pile of lapis chip beads onto a piece of wire and using round nose jewellery pliers, loop the other end of the wire and wrap it securely.

Continue doing this for 7 sections then attach another rope connector link. The next connector link will be attached after 6 sections as you have 20 sections in total.

Once complete you will have a lovely long necklace which doesn't need fastening and can easily slip over your neck.
