Solid Opal A Quality Cabochons

These solid opal A quality cabochons have a domed top and flat back. They are lovely stones with blue, green or red colour flashes and some stones have all three. These flashes vary from stone to stone making each one unique, perfect for creating one off pieces of jewellery. These opals can be transparent to opaque and vary in background colour from white to beige. These cabochons are A quality and as you would expect, have much more fire than our B quality opal cabochons.

  • Hardness of 5.5-6.5 on the Mohs scale
  • Natural gemstone
  • Healing properties: Intuition, personal power and removes fear
