These gold-filled wire guardians (also known as thread protectors) are an excellent alternative to gimp wire.
These prevent your stringing material from wearing against your findings.
How to use: Simply feed your thread or wire (up to 0.8mm) through the protector and then thread your fastener, necklet end or jump ring over the top. Don't forget to slide a crimp on first to crimp the thread back on itself!
