These sterling silver medium plain bell caps have 4 prongs in a pretty, pointed petal design which expand to fit your choice of stone, making them ideal for hanging rough or tumbled polished gemstones or crystals which are awkwardly shaped or undrilled.
Designed for smaller stones, the 'petal' prongs can be adjusted to fit irregular shapes or crystals as long as the piece tapers on one end.
We think they look great used on more regular shapes such as teardrops or briolette beads too. Whatever gemstones you decide to use them with, the bell caps can simply be glued in place using Devcon 5 Minute Epoxy Glue. Your mounted stones can then be used individually or in little clusters to create gorgeous looking earrings, pendants and charms.
