Ready to start your silver clay journey?
If you’ve been wanting to try your hand at jewellery making with Silver Clay but weren’t sure where to begin, this starter bundle is made just for you. It includes everything you need to start creating small silver jewellery pieces at home - no kiln or torch required.
This kit is designed to be used on a standard gas hob, making silver clay jewellery surprisingly accessible for beginners.
How gas hob firing works
Once your piece is fully dry, simply place it on the included gas hob firing mesh over a lit gas burner. The silver clay will burn away its binder and sinter into solid silver right before your eyes. After firing, allow the piece to cool slightly, then use the reverse action tweezers to handle it safely before finishing and polishing.
What’s inside the bundle:
- 10g of Art Clay™ Silver Clay - enough to create several small pieces
- Plastic rolling pin - for smooth, even clay rolling
- Brass brush - to reveal your beautiful silver finish
- 3M sanding sponges - mixed pack (fine & medium grits)
- Polishing papers (7 × 7 cm) - for a professional shine
- Silver clay advice leaflet - clear, beginner friendly guidance
- Gas hob firing mesh - allows safe firing on a gas hob (style of mesh may vary)
- Reverse-action tweezers - for handling hot pieces with confidence
Perfect for beginners, home makers, and anyone curious about working with silver clay. This bundle removes the guesswork and lets you get started straight away.
