About Cubic Zirconia

Cubic Zirconia is a man-made synthetic crystalline substance. They are usually used in jewellery designs as an alternative to diamonds and it's hard to distinguish between the two. It measures 8-8.5 on the Moh's hardness scale, so it's a great durable stone to use within everyday jewellery designs. You may have also heard about zircon gemstones, these should not be mistaken for cubic zirconia despite the similar name. Zircon is a real gemstone and also has a strong resemblance to diamond.
