Sea Glass Bracelet

Sea Glass Bracelet

We love collecting sea glass but what can you do with it? Make your own handmade jewellery!

This bracelet project is so easy and you'll have a beautiful sea glass bracelet in no time.

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS

Choose your piece of sea glass that will fit in the link setting, the link setting featured in this kit measures 5mm round but you can choose from a range of other sizes here. You will need to choose an appropriately sized piece of sea glass as the setting has a small lip around the edge.

Firstly, you need to make sure the sea glass and setting is clean.

You can use sandpaper to gently rough up the area that the sea glass will attach to the setting - this will make allow a stronger bond.

Apply a small amount of Devcon 5 minute epoxy glue to the setting, then place your sea glass and apply a little pressure to make sure the glue has coated the bottom of the glass and leave in place until it feels secure.

If necessary you can wipe off any excess glue with a cloth before it dries.

Allow to fully dry.

Cut your chosen chain in half by using side cutters.

Ensure that the chain is cut exactly at the half way point from the chainā€™s clasp.

Using snipe or flat nose pliers, open two jump rings and attach to either end of the chain.

Attach your link setting onto the jump rings and close to secure.

Your bracelet is complete!
