Rose Quartz & Hope Affirmation Bracelet
This bracelet design features a hope affirmation charm and rose quartz large holed beads. It includes simple knots and is fastened using our popular box style cord ends, which is a great way to complete your designs that use thread.
You could easily change this design to make a necklace, just increase the length of leather thonging accordingly.
This kit contains a pack of 10 pairs of cord ends, plus more jump rings so you can use these in future projects!
STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS
1. Cut two pieces of 50cm leather thonging with scissors.
2. Fold the leather thonging in half and push the folded end through the affirmation charm, then thread the ends through so the charm hangs from the middle of the cord.
3. Repeat on the other side of the charm with the remaining leather thonging.
4. Tie a simple knot in the thonging approximately 2cm from the charm, slide on a rose quartz bead and tie another knot. You can add the knots closely on either side of the bead or leave a little room like we have to allow the bead to move slightly. You could also add more beads and knots if you wish to do so.
5. Repeat step 4 on the other side of the bracelet.
6. Place the bracelet over your wrist to determine the size you would like (a bracelet is usually 19cm in length) and trim the ends of the thonging accordingly, leaving enough room for your fastenings.
7. Place the box clasp over the end of the thonging and use flat nose pliers to fold the ends over on themselves to secure the ends. Twist open a jump ring and attach to the loop of the box clasp and close.
8. Repeat step 7 by placing the box clasp over the end of the thonging and use flat nose pliers to fold the ends over on themselves to secure the ends. Then twist open a jump ring and attach to the loop of the box clasp, before twisting closed don't forget to attach the loop of the clasp.
Your bracelet is now ready to wear!
