This project is great if you're a jewellery making beginner or would like to learn how to use a top-drilled bead.
We've used our sterling silver black oxidised diamond cut rope chain to add that touch of sparkle, making this necklace perfect to wear for special occasions.
Begin by glueing your faceted heart into the sterling silver peg - we recommend using Devcon 5 Minute Epoxy Glue, it's a reliable, strong and fast drying glue which is great for all areas of jewellery making.
Prepare by mixing the glue - you'll have to work fast, as the glue will begin to set. Use a fine point such as a cocktail stick and dab the glue onto the end of the peg and place into the half-drilled hole of the bead.
Place your bead down and leave to set.
Use flat nose or snipe nose pliers to open the 5mm sterling silver jump ring, thread on the loop of the peg and chain, then close the jump ring.
Your necklace is complete!
