The Paragon SC2 kiln is one of the most popular and recommended kilns for using with metals clays. It is easy to use and cheap to run and at 34x33x40cm, it fits into the smallest of work spaces. It is suitable for firing PMC, Art Clay, BronzClay, CopprClay, Glassclay, glass-bead annealing, dichroic glasses, enamelling, jewellery, lost-wax casting, low-fire ceramics, glass fusing, and much more, making it a really versatile kiln.
Your kiln comes with one hard shelf and four posts to stand it on, a vent bung, full instructions and is ready to use as soon as you receive it. There are four door options available (please click here for more information) and there are also extra shelf kits available. Customer reviews of this product:
“I'm an enamellist and a metal clay artist. When I started looking for my first kiln, I wanted one kiln that would serve both these needs. I found exactly what I was looking for in the Paragon SC-2. Over the years this versatile little kiln has been an absolute workhorse and has never let me down. It's fast and precise. I can fire an entire load of metal clay, from start to finish, in about half an hour! The addition of a window in the door has made it perfect for enameling. Being able to watch the enamels fuse eliminates problems with over-firing."

“I love Paragon, have been using their kilns since the late 60s. I used them first for pottery and casting, then glass, and now PMC. It'll do anything, probably stand on its head for me. I have used it for wax burnout, beadmaking, metal clay, enameling, heat colouring copper—just about everything. It's a workhorse!"
Ann at Ann Davies Jewellery
“I am so pleased with my new kiln and loving working with it after an initial flap about how to programme it! I was very impressed with the price as it was the cheapest I'd found it and had free postage. I was also very pleased at how quick the delivery was and have made a few things already. My first piece sold on day one!"
Freya, Isle of Arran
“I was very pleased with the extra fast delivery on the kiln and the careful way it had been packed; it's also a very convenient size for stowing away in a cupboard when not in use! I have only used the kiln for PMC so far, but it was very easy to use. I don't have a separate workshop, so have to work in the kitchen - I set it up on large ceramic floor tiles on a table in the middle of the room so that it is away from anything flammable."
