Great size (by Jodie, 30/03/2016)
I love this little bottle of liver of sulfur as I don't use it all the time so this amount is so handy. Does just what it says on the bottle and is very easy to use. The instructions are a great help for anyone who may not have used this before.
Super stuff, I love it (by Rosie Hamilton, 07/03/2016)
I have just started making silver and copper wire woven jewellery. This gives a wonderful antiqued effect to the copper, and a variety of colours to the silver. Super stuff, I love it. However, it is very strong and works quickly, so I would use a weaker solution initially unless you are experienced in its use!
Create incredible colours (by Hannah, 31/05/2011)
After reading Jinks McGrath's book 'The Jeweller's Directory of Decorative Finishes, I was inspired to experiment with the colours you can create with it - I was not disappointed at all! In fact I became a bit obsessed with the beautiful iridescent colours which range from gold, green, pink, purple and blue. I found I achieved the best results on silver by using a very dilute solution and heating the silver in hot water first, before dipping it in the LOS until it achieved the colours I was happy with. Brilliant fun to use and the effects are utterly entrancing! I use renaissance wax to polish to preserve the patina.
Cheap & easy to use (by Nikki, Devon, 31/05/2011)
I love these little tubes of liquid liver of sulphur. Super cheap, so easy to use and entirely mess free due to the handy squeezy dropper. And you know what? I even have started loving the smell cos it means my pieces are very nearly finished!
Create an aged look on copper (by Catherine Bonham, 07/06/2010)
I work with copper wire which is bright orange - Liver of Sulphur gives it a wonderful aged look and brings out many different colours in the copper. It's really easy to use, and the instructions that are provided with the product are clear and simple to follow.
Enhances wire wrapped designs beautifully (by Amanda Robins, 27/05/2010)
I was introduced to Liver of Sulphur by some of my jewellery designer friends. It is fantastic at oxidising sterling silver to give it that fashionable antiqued look and is incredibly simple to use. I use it a lot on my wire wrapped designs as it adds depth to the wire and enhances it beautifully.
