Black tourmalinated quartz is clear quartz with interesting black tourmaline needle-like inclusions. These are really gorgeous faceted teardrop briolette beads and each one is remarkably cut with particular care taken over the drilling of the holes. They are relatively consistent in size and their facets give them some extra sparkle. 

Although we would recommend using 0.3mm wire with these briolettes, the holes do vary and a more suitable diameter wire may be necessary.
