Picture Jasper gets its name from the beautiful markings that frequently resemble miniature pieces of art. Mainly depicting landscape scene of the countryside and rolling hills but occasionally the formation of the markings and bandings will be in such a way it looks like an idyllic mountain scene.

  • Has a hardness of 6.5-7 on the Mohs scale
