Blue Paua Shell Cabochons

These grade A blue paua shell cabochons are one of our best sellers! Characteristic iridescent blues and turquoise colours with wonderful markings from this shell found in the waters off New Zealand. These will work particularly well in our milled edge earstuds.

  • Cabochon (flat bottom, flat smooth top)
  • Grade A
  • These are shallow stones and not suitable for gallery wire settings
  • Available in a range of sizes and shapes to suit your jewellery needs and designs
  • Has a hardness of 3.5 on the Mohs scale
