Insect Included Baltic Amber Freeform Cabochon, Approx 22.5x17mm

This Baltic amber insect-included cabochon is beautifully fascinating with inclusions of organic material. Insects and plants have become entombed in the tree resin and over time the resin slowly hardens which has then preserved these organic specimens within. This amber cabochon is totally unique and would be perfect to use for a one-off jewellery design.

  • Hardness of 2.5 on the Mohs scale - care must be taken with Amber as it is a very soft stone
