The largest stone to be cut from the Cullinan Diamond was the 'Cullinan 1' - also known as 'The Star of Africa'. It is a 530.2 carat, pear shaped diamond and the largest polished white diamond in the world. It is now mounted in the head of the Royal Septre as part of the British Crown Jewels.
