This beautiful necklace was recently made by Jessica Rose of the London Jewellery School in a step-by-step video tutorial. Jessica used our crystal quartz drilled points to make the necklace so we have created this Make The Look following her step by step instructions.
Start by deciding the length of the necklace that you want then cut two pieces of chain in equal lengths using side cutters, bearing in mind to leave space for the quartz points hanging in the front and few beads at the back.
Take a piece of sterling silver 0.5mm wire and make a loop using round nose jewellery pliers.
Thread it through a link on one end of the chain, then wrap to secure. For tips on wire wrapping click here.
Thread on your crystal points then repeat the above step on the other side, so both lengths of chain are attached to the crystal points.
To finish your necklace you could either simply attach a jump ring and a clasp or do as Jessica has done and finish with a few beads which looks really pretty.
If you wish to add a few beads, cut a piece of sterling silver 0.5mm wire, thread it through the end link on the chain, wrap securely then thread on one apatite faceted rondelle bead (as featured in Jessica's video).
Wrap securely then repeat again adding another bead but this time finish by making a larger loop which will then finish one end of the necklace.
Repeat on the other side, securing a lobster clasp on the end. Your necklace is now complete!
