This jewellery making kit combines our beautiful double point pendant with leather cord for a simple necklace design.
You can choose your favourite double point pendant to use in this necklace design - we have some eye catching colours & gemstones to choose from.
This kit contains extra leather cord and jump rings which you can use in other projects.
1. Cut the leather cord to the desired length.
2. Thread the cord through the bail that is already attached to the pendant.
3. To secure the end caps to the cord, score the inside of the end cap with a scribe or similar and apply glue (Devcon 5 - minute epoxy). Insert the cleanly cut end of the cord as deep as possible. We found that placing a piece of wire through the eye in the cap can prevent the cord from being glued in too deep and blocking the hole - just be careful not to glue the wire in place!
4. Next, use flat or snipe nose pliers to twist open a 7mm jump ring and thread through the hole of one end. Twist the jump ring closed. On the other end cap, twist open another 7mm jump ring and thread through. This time catch in the lobster clasp loop and twist the jump ring closed.
Your necklace is now complete!
