These earrings are really pretty and add a touch of vintage style! We love using briolettes in our designs and these are great for everyday wear.
Start by gluing the lapis half-drilled bead into the sterling silver earstud setting using Devcon 5 Minute Epoxy Glue - the glue we recommend for jewellery making.
Prepare the glue by mixing in a small dish. Use a fine point such as a cocktail stick to dab a bit of glue onto the cap of the peg and gently place it in the half-drilled hole in the bead.
Once mixed, the glue sets in 5 minutes, so ensure you set your bead straight away.
Gently place it down and leave it to set.
Using side cutters, cut the 0.3mm wire to approx 5cm length. As the briolette is small the length of wire needs to be shorter than when usually wrapping a larger briolette bead.
Wrap your briolette using snipe/flat nose pliers and round nose pliers, ensuring you wrap it around the middle loop in the charm.
Now you can attach the art deco charm with the briolette to the loop on the bottom of the earstud settings.
