This necklace design features a pretty top drilled lapis lazuli heart bead, we've chosen this stone as it resembles harmony, truth and love in relationships.
We've designed this with Valentine's Day in mind, but it's a beautiful design to wear all year round and would make a lovely gift for someone special.
Are you thinking of making these as a gift? Why not add a presentation box or gift bag to your order!
The shopping list includes more jump rings and pegs than needed, which you can use for future projects.
1. Begin by adding a small amount of Devcon 5 Minute Epoxy Glue into the heart bead hole and place the peg with loop inside the hole, then allow to set.
You can trim the pegs with side cutters to shorten them if you wish - also, don't worry if the hole seems too big for the peg, the glue will fill any gaps for a secure setting.
2. Use a pair of snipe nose or flat nose pliers to twist open a jump ring, attach the loop of the pendant charm, followed by the peg loop and necklet chain before twisting closed to secure. The heart should hang nicely in front of the teardrop charm.
It's that simple! Your necklace is now ready to wear.
