This emerald sterling silver necklace stands out beautifully.
Are you thinking of making this as a gift? Why not add a presentation box or gift bag to your order.
Start by wrapping the end of some of the wire around round nose pliers to make a loop, then wrap the wire to make it secure.
Thread your emerald beads onto the wire and repeat with the other end of the wire making a loop and wrapping it to make it secure.
Repeat on the other side. For tips on opening and closing jump rings neatly click here.
Using Devcon 5 Minute Epoxy Glue, glue the emerald cabochon into the sterling silver pendant setting.
The glue creates super-fast, high strength, high-quality bonds and as it sets clear it is excellent for filling gaps so ideal for setting stones. For full instructions plus some hints and tips on mixing and application click here.
Thread the emerald pendant onto the beads so it hangs centrally.
Cut your chain in half - an easy way to cut it exactly in half is to hold the chain up with the fastenings at the top then cut it where it falls centrally at the bottom.
Using snipe nose pliers open the links of the chain and attach the emeralds by the jump rings either side.
