Once you have learned to use it, you are sure to love Art Clay so you can go on to experiment with using it in different forms such as syringe or paste. As well as the suggested seashell mould in this kit, we also sell some lovely orchid, rose and hummingbird moulds which you can use to mould your Art Clay, as well metal cutters for creating neat, consistent hearts, circles, flowers and teardrops.
If you wish to experiment with your designs, you may want to try Copper Clay which goes further for your money. To use this, you would need to invest in a jewellers gas torch but once fired, you are left with a solid piece of copper more than 99.5% pure.

This is a fantastic book, teaching you how to make bezels using metal clay sheet, syringe & clay, which gems to use and at what temperatures to fire them. It is both instructional and hugely inspiring and makes setting stones in metal clay seem very approachable and exciting.
