Postage & packing costs
UK: For orders under £100 our standard charge is
£2.95 regardless of the size of your order, meaning you can order as much or as
little as you wish. We will send your order by Royal Mail First Class however if
you would rather your order is sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery the cost will
be £6.25 and will require a signature on delivery. We now offer FREE DELIVERY for
orders over £100 sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery or Parcelforce 48 hour Service.
The weight of your order will determine how it is sent. Both of these services require
a signature on delivery.
Channel Islands & BFPO’s: You will not be charged VAT (website orders will have the VAT refunded). Postage and packing costs is the
same as for UK orders. However if your order weighs over 2kg we will need to make
an additional charge for the extra postage cost. We will notify you if this applies
to your order. Please note that we cannot guarantee delivery times to these areas.
Europe: We make a standard charge of £4.00. If your
order weighs more than 500g we will need to make an additional charge for the extra
postage cost. We will notify you if this applies to your order.
All Other Countries: We make a standard charge of
£5.95. If your order weighs more than 500g we will need to make an additional charge
for the extra postage cost. We will notify you if this applies to your order.
Delivery
All orders are dealt with promptly – we make every effort to get your goods to
you as soon as we can as we know how important it is for you to receive your order
quickly. Any items that are out of stock will be sent to you as soon as we receive
them with no additional postage and packing costs. Wherever possible all orders
received before midday will be sent the same day. There are, however, certain items
that could delay your order so be aware of this if you need something for a specific
date (see below for details).
Back Orders
All items are subject to availability. Any out of stock items will be despatched as
soon as we receive them, with no additional postage & packing costs.
Discounts
We supply everyone from hobbyists to silversmiths, schools & shops. As we
do not differentiate between our customers, our prices are the same whether you
are ordering for retail or wholesale purposes. We know you share our passion for
making beautiful jewellery so we want to reward you for buying more! You will notice
that we have hundreds of excellent quantity discounts; the more you buy of an item
the better price you will get and on some items this can be as much as 45% cheaper.
Remember, if you are ordering in the UK you can make an additional saving when you
order over £100 worth of goods as we will send your order free of postage and packing
charges by either Royal Mail Special Delivery or Courier. If you spend over £165
on one order (in one transaction only) you will receive £10 off your order and free
postage & packing!
It May Take a Little Longer If…
We make every effort to get your order to you on time. If you are ordering any
of the following, be aware that your goods may take a little longer to prepare,
so allow for this when placing your order.
Setting services: We finish our rings and pendant mounts in our
workshop and will size finger rings on your order for you free of charge. If we
are busy this could take up to 7-10 days but will usually be much quicker. If you
are unsure please ask one of our team for more information.
9ct Gold Sheet & Wire: We keep stock of the most popular
sizes, but some items will be ordered specially for you. We usually receive deliveries
once or twice a week. This may also apply to unusually large orders of Sterling
Silver sheet.
Special Requests
We want you to be completely satisfied with your order and where possible we will always do our best to help you – when you’re happy we’re happy.
If you need guidance selecting the perfect item for your project, matching pairs of stones or specific colours, just let us know when you place your order and we
will do our best to assist you. Our friendly team are available on the phone throughout
the day so you can speak to a real person for any advice or help you might need.
Returns
We hope that you are happy with the items you have ordered but please check your goods as soon as you receive them. If you are unhappy with a purchase please follow
our guidelines to ensure that we can help you. Please return items within 14 days
for an exchange, credit note or refund (postage and packing and setting service
charges are not refundable). Please ensure that goods are adequately packed in a padded envelope; this is very important as we cannot accept responsibility for goods lost or damaged in the post. We would suggest getting your package weighed at your
local post office to ensure you have the correct postage paid (otherwise returns
will incur a fine from the Royal Mail). Make sure you include a note saying why
you are returning the item and include all your contact details and the order number
you are returning the item from. If you are unsure of anything do not hesitate to
phone us and one of our friendly team will advise you.
Prices
We endeavour to hold prices for the life of the current catalogue, however we
do reserve the right to change prices should this become unavoidable. The precious
metal market is always changing and at the time of writing this, is unfortunately
steadily increasing in price. We try to give you the best prices we can and will
hold our prices wherever possible, despite fluctuations in the world market. When
we can get items at a better price we will pass on the benefits to you as well.
All our prices include VAT at 17.5% where applicable. A tax invoice can be supplied
on request. Quantity discounts on this website are shown rounded to the nearest
penny on the product pages. Please check your shopping basket to see the exact price.
Products
The vast majority of the stones we supply are natural and inevitably colours,
markings and cuts may vary from the images shown. We do however make every effort
to supply stock of consistent quality. Images on this website are not to scale,
although sizes are given wherever possible. We have made every effort to picture
products and colours as accurately as possible. Although we photograph some items
set with stones, all mounts are supplied without stones unless stated. If you would
like us to set an item for you, please add the correct sized stones to your order
and select the appropriate setting service. Where necessary all items comply with
EC Nickel regulations.
Monthly Accounts for Schools, Colleges & Local Authorities
We offer accounts with 30 days credit for schools and local authorities ordering
by official requisition. Postage and packaging for all orders regardless of size
is £2.95. Orders on monthly account will not be eligible for free postage or promotional
discounts on order value. Payment for orders will be due 30 days from the order
date. If payment is not made by the due date we shall be entitled to charge interest
on the outstanding amount at the rate of 8% above the base rate of HSBC Bank Plc
until the amount is paid in full. Orders for monthly accounts cannot be placed via
the website, but should be made by post, fax, telephone or email.
