This new torch is a good quality jewellers gas torch with push button `piezo` ignition and a small, easily controllable flame (up to 1300°C). This is ideal for general soldering and particularly ideal for small pieces, such as jump rings or chains. It is also great for firing torch fireable metal clay. This torch burns for over an hour from full and is easy to refill using butane gas (cigarette lighter gas) available from newsagents and hardware shops. A simple to use torch, it can be easily operated using only one hand, which saves time and gas as you can arrange pieces to be soldered and even hold them securely with one hand before lighting the torch with the other hand. It has a black metal body and is comfortable to hold and comes with a removable base so it can stand up on your work bench. It also has a safety feature so that the torch cannot be accidentally lit when the safety lock is applied. Height: 155mm Working time: approx. 90mins Flame adjustment: 12mm - 32mm
