This steel bench block, also known as a flat plate or planishing block, is the perfect addition to your workshop. Measuring 75x75x20mm it is a great size for hammering and forming metal wire and sheet and being made of hardened steel it is a great quality item that wont be marked by hammering. A handy tool for wireworkers and silversmiths alike. It is recommended that this block is used with a planishing hammer, a jewellers hammer or rawhide mallet - it should not be used with engineering hammers from DIY stores.
