This is a great basic torch suitable for most jewellery work. It delivers a larger flame (up to 1450°C) than our other torches, making it quicker to heat items up to temperature. It is suitable for most jewellery work and particularly ideal for soldering larger items, such as chunky pendants or bangles and also for firing torch fireable metal clay. It is great to have in your workshop alongside one of our smaller flame torches which are more suited to soldering smaller items such as chains and jump rings. This torch can also be used for many DIY applications around the home. It takes the butane/propane gas canisters which are available in various sizes (small for ease of handling or large for less refilling) from good DIY and hardware shops. Supplied without gas.
