Art Clay Silver 650
Product Code: C188
Incredible, malleable clay which, once fired, turns into pure silver! Your imagination is probably the most important tool you will need for using Art Clay. Remember how much fun you had with plasticine and play dough? Using those same modelling skills and a few basic tools, you will be amazed at the high class and professional looking results you can achieve. Fired pieces will be made of 99.9% pure silver (hallmarkable and even purer than sterling silver). The beauty of the Art Clay brand is that you can even fire small pieces on your gas hob at home so you don`t even need to buy a torch! The clay is brilliant for picking up textures and can be shaped in to solid or hollow shapes, it can be rolled out to whatever thickness you require and moulded into almost any shape you can think of. The clay shrinks by approximately 9% when fired so there is a small amount of shrinkage but this makes textures appear even more intricate. Don`t be afraid to experiment either as any dry, unfired pieces you are not happy with can be re-constituted back into clay and used again. Shrinks by 8-9%. Available in 10g, 20g and 50g packs.

Customer reviews of this product:
“My first attempts with PMC left me in a rage - as it was so sticky. So it was refreshing to discover Art Clay, which I will definately be using again as it was so easy to work with."
