All of these coloured effects have been created using Liver of Sulphur. We spent an hour in our workshop experimenting with different strengths of the solution and different lengths of exposure to it and were amazed by the effects that can be created. It really is trial and error so we'd recommend having a play with a scrap bit of metal to see what effects you can achieve! It has different effects on different metals, we experimetned on stering silver, copper, brass and even plated wires. At only £3.00 for a pot it's the perfect product to have a play with...and you need so little that the pot will last you ages!

Add the finishing touches..We recommend using Renaissance wax to coat your jewellery once you have found the right effect. It's really easy to use, simple rub a thin layer over the metal, and it protects the effects keeping them visible for longer.
