Create your perfect jewellery with our setting service!
Everyone loves to create their own jewellery, but not everyone knows how to or has the time to do it. Our setting service is designed to allow you to have that choice, without the time or hassle of making it by yourself. We’ve all taken advantage of this here at Kernowcraft, having rings and pendants set for presents (and ourselves!) Each of us have our favourite stones but our particular favourite has to be Labradorite, these Labradorite cufflinks (pictured beside) were set for a customer, we couldn’t resist photographing them before they went out to the customer as they’re simply stunning!
You can create jewellery that reflects your own style, or maybe recreate that gorgeous piece of jewellery you’ve seen on a celebrity for a fraction of the cost!
So, how does it work?
It really is as easy as 1,2,3! Simply choose from our wide range of jewellery settings and then choose your favourite stone to have set. If you choose the setting service our jeweller will do the hard work for you and a shiny new piece of jewellery will land on your doorstep in a few working days!
What can I have set?
We have a huge range of jewellery that we can set for you. Choose from our earring, pendant, ring, brooch or cufflink settings, many of which are available in sterling silver or 9ct Gold. These can be set with either faceted or cabochon stones depending on the setting. The difficult decision is picking your favourite!
What happens when I choose a setting service?
As with all our orders, once your order has gone through our staff pick out the stones and settings, assuring that you get the best possible stone from our available stock. These then go to our workshop where our jeweller Pete Hodge works on the piece. Pete has had years of experience and is a very talented jeweller in his own right, you can take a look at some of his work in our gallery. He will set and polish the piece (and size if it is a ring) and it will be with you in a few working days. At busy periods this can take up to 7 days, however usually it goes out to you within a couple of days!
